Steve’s gigs

Hi Friends
This is what I’m up to in the near future. Hope you can join me for some of it.

This weekend is Winster Secret Gardens
a lovely annual event on Saturday July 18th and Sunday July 19th from 1.30 to 5.30 pm.
As always I’ll be playing jazz in the garden of The Headlands on East Bank between 2 and 4 pm. As always I’ll be joined by some wonderful musicians – Jez Matthews on piano, Pat Sprakes on bass and Clive Loveday on drums. So do come and enjoy this beautiful village and sit in the garden and listen to us with a drink for some of the time.

Here are some other dates for your diary:
We will not be at The Druid in Birchover in July. I’ll let you know the next dates shortly.

Friday 7th August at 7.30 pm Jet Collective will play JetStream, at Haggler’s Corner in Sheffield. hagglerscorner.co.uk

Sunday 13 September Jet Collective play JetStream at Stamford. Full details to follow.

Saturday 10th October Jet Collective play JetStream at Gothic Warehouse, Cromford Mills. Full details to follow.

And another opportunity to see Cottongrass Theatre’s “You might as well live” with jazz by Steve Salfield and Graham Jones. Foolow, Friday 2nd October. This brilliant play about Dorothy Parker, her life and writing is wickedly funny, and poignantly touching. It ran for 6 nights at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford as well as many other venues. Starring Sue Daniel. Not to be missed. Details later.
