JetStream this Friday in Sheffield

JetStream

A night of brilliant, original music: thoughtful, powerful, playful, richly-layered and skilfully performed. Green Man Gallery, Buxton

“‘Jetstream’ is the most inspiring suite of music I have heard in an age.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that JET collective are the most consummate group of musicians you are ever likely to hear.”
Sheffield author Bill Allerton

“This music by the Jet Collective deserves to be played in major concert halls anywhere in the world. The composition and performance was world class.”
Geoff Dalton, Derbyshire.

“Thanks for the hot link to “Heat.” I was blown away. Really, really excellent number. And the video quality was excellent too. Jet Collective is very fine.”
Dana Hornig, American journalist and author.

And another opportunity to see Cottongrass Theatre’s “You might as well live” with jazz by Steve Salfield and Graham Jones. Foolow, Friday 2nd October. This brilliant play about Dorothy Parker, her life and writing is wickedly funny, and poignantly touching. It ran for 6 nights at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford as well as many other venues. Starring Sue Daniel. Not to be missed. Details later.
