Steve on tenor and soprano saxes will be joined by the excellent Wendy Kirkland on keyboards and the brilliant Pat Sprakes on double bass. We’ll play some popular songs and some less well known tunes.
Hot and cold breakfast plus papers.
£8 for adults, £4 for children under12 and free for pre school children.
A family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children is £20

Tuesday June 26th, 2012, Art and Jazz in Winster Church, Winster, Derbyshire. 6-8 pm
This is part of Winster Carnival programme. Some inspiring local artists exhibit their work and the Steve Salfield Trio provides some interesting jazz. Beautiful place for it too. This time I’m joined by my two old friends who are both excellent musicians – Pete Moxley on keyboards and Graham Jones on double bass.

The Secret Gardens of Winster is always a hugely popular event. You can visit some fascinating places in this beautiful village.
Of course The Steve Salfield Quartet is always one of the main attractions. (No room for modesty in the jazz world). I’m playing once more with my brilliant musician friends, Wendy Kirkland on keyboard, Pat Sprakes on double bass and Clive Loveday on drums.

The Jet Collective in concert plays its Derbyshire Suite.

The Jet Collective’s eight musicians (I’m one of them) have created the Derbyshire Suite – a suite of 13 pieces inspired by aspects of Derbyshire – the landscapes, ancient stone circles, morris dancing and folk customs, the industrial heritage and modern commerce.
Please don’t miss this one. It’s had some rave reviews.
