Steve’s gigs

Hello My Friends
Just letting you know about my next few gigs. I have some really nice ones coming up and you might like to join me for some of them.

This Thursday June 23rd June 2016 Jazz at The Druid in Birchover 01629 653836 Music starts 8pm
Great food, great beer, great company and of course wonderful music at our regular local gig at The Druid.
Just come along but advisable to book ahead if you want to eat.
The wonderful musicians: Pete Moxley on piano, Graham Jones on double bass, Paul Tozer on drums – not forgetting myself on tenor saxophone playing all kinds of jazz.

Friday June 24th 2016 – Jazz at The Barley Mow in Bonsall. 01629 825685 Music starts 9pm
Same amazing lineup – Pete Moxley on piano, Graham Jones on double bass, Paul Tozer on drums – not forgetting myself on tenor saxophone playing all kinds of jazz. But this time, featuring the amazing singing of our host at the pub, Colette Dewhurst. She is phenomenal and not to be missed.
Again great music, beer, food, company and music. And what an atmosphere! Advisable to book ahead to eat.

Tuesday June 28th 2016 – Art and Jazz in Winster Church.6-8 pm.
This has become a regular favourite part of Winster Wakes week.
Come and see the art of Winster residents in the wonderful surroundings of this beautiful church with me, Pete Moxley and Graham Jones playing some soulful music. Have a glass of wine while you enjoy the Winster culture.

Saturday and Sunday July 16th and 17th 2016. Winster Secret Gardens 1.30 to 5.30 pm
A must for many regular visitors to this lovely summer ritual. Visit beautiful quirky corners of Winster not normally open to the public. Have afternoon tea or wine and importantly enjoy the jazz of Steve Salfield Quartet featuring fantastic musicians Wendy Kirkland on keyboard, Pat Sprakes on double bass, and Clive Loveday on drums as well as me on sax.

Hope to see you soon
