Steve’s Gigs H – Launch of JetStream

Hello Friends
A reminder that Jet Collective will be launching our new album next Sunday. I hope you can make it.

The album is called
JetStream
Sunday December 7th, 2014 at 7.30pm, (doors open at 7pm)
at The Green Man Gallery, Hardwick Hall, Hardwick Square South, Buxton SK17 6PY

Inspired by the theme of weather and climate we will perform some startlingly original tunes like Carbon Love Affair, Isobars, Troppo, Glaciology, Solar Storm and more.
Please come and experience the JetStream without having to fly to the stratosphere!

“Only the best band I have ever heard,” said Bill Allerton.
OK you might think Bill should get out more but you will hear some great musicians – Reg Clegg on guitars and bass and his unique falsetto singing, Karen Clegg on flute, keyboards, melodica and her wonderful singing, Simon Beckett on congas and various percussion instruments, Clive Loveday’s brilliant drumming, Paul Biggins on keyboard, guitar and bass guitar, and last (but I hope not least) me on tenor, alto and soprano saxes.
You could even buy the CD if you want to!

Where is it? The Green Man Gallery, in a former ballroom, is a wonderful venue for music, with an incredible, resonant acoustic, yet with an intimate atmosphere due to the layout of the gallery’s picture stands and furnishings.

Hardwick Hall is behind the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery on Terrace Road. It can be approached on foot from Terrace Road (up the path to the left of the museum) or from Hardwick Square South.

Tickets are £8 from Box Office: 01298 937375, hello or in person at the gallery between 10.30am and 5.30pm.

Hope you can make it.
Steve
