Hi FriendsIt’s been an enjoyably busy summer for me so far musically, and now I’m entering a quiet period which is fine.
People have been asking when we’ll next be playing jazz at The Druid so I need to let you know that the gigs at The Druid in Birchover are resting for August and September. Sorry about that.
My next gig at The Druid is on Thursday October 16th with my old mates Pete Moxley and Graham Jones.
You might as well live – Cotton Grass Theatre and Steve Salfield Trio back at The Harland Cafe, John Street in Sheffield on Friday September 19th at 7.30 or possibly 8pm.
A show featuring the words, wisdom and wisecracks of Dorothy Parker, one of America’s foremost jazz age writers with jazz from the era.
The Harland is a lovely place where you can eat and drink and then enjoy the play.
It’s been a very successful show with 6 nights at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford as well as lots of local shows in Derbyshire and elsewhere. Quite a few people have come to see it more than once, which must be a good sign.

Jet Collective has been working on our new album JetStream which is scheduled for release in October and with a release party/gig in the planning stages. It’s sounding good. More news soon.
