I’ve been lucky to have a pretty busy time with gigs recently.
“You might as well live” The Dorothy Parker play with Cotton Grass Theatre and Steve Salfield Trio is going very well, and we have just one more show booked at present.
There’ve been some nice private jazz gigs and public ones.

Our regular spot at this lovely pub with excellent food and great beer.
I can’t make it this time but you have a rare opportunity to hear Henrik Linneman, a fantastic flautist equally at home with jazz and classical music, together with excellent regulars, Pete Moxley on keyboard and Graham Jones on double bass. Should be a great night.
It’s advisable to book if you want a meal.
Saturday 19th July and Sunday 20th July, 2-4 pm at Winster Secret Gardens. Gardens open from 1.30 to 5.30
Every year Winster Secret Gardens is a hugely popular event, and we get to play jazz in the beautiful garden of The Headlands on East Bank.
You can visit intriguing hidden gardens, have wonderful home made ice creams and puddings and sit and listen to us playing. Not a bad option.
I’ll be with some brilliant musicians; Matt Ratcliffe on keyboard, Graham Jones on double bass and Ian Loxley on drums. It’ll be fun.

Work on the Wild Side is a joint pop up exhibition of unusual art by my sister Angie Salfield and Jenny Tozer. This is the opening and you and your friends are invited to come and have some wine and nibbles.

A very rare opportunity to hear me playing in London. I’ll be with my old mate from long ago, a wonderful guitarist, Jeff Chambers. We haven’t played together for years. So I’m looking forward to that one and hope you can make it if you are in London that day.
26th and 27th July I have two wedding anniversary parties to play at.

Last month we had very successful shows at Green Man Gallery in Buxton, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford and in Lytham St Annes at the Pavilion Theatre.
This next show will be at Harland Cafe, John Street in Sheffield on September 19th. It’s a cool and very trendy place and it will be well worth booking ahead. I’ll let you know when tickets are available.
We hope to have another tour with the play next year.
